Orientation and Opening Ceremony / Luxor Temple

This is a large ancient temple complex, located on the east bank of the Nile River, and was founded in 1400 BCE. After touring the temple, we will return to the Hotel.

Dendara and Abydos Temples
After breakfast we will travel by bus to Dendara Temple. It is one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt and contains the Temple of Hathor. Afterwards, we will visit the temple at Abydos, dedicated to Pharaoh Seti I. Abydos is one of the oldest cities of ancient Egypt, dating to pre-dynastic times. Then we will return to the hotel.

Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple / Optional Hot Air Balloon

After breakfast a visit to the Valley of the Kings, also called the Valley of the Gates of the Kings. For a period of nearly 500 years, from the 16th to11th century BC, tombs were constructed there for the Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. The valley stands on the west bank of the Nile, opposite Thebes (modern Luxor), within the heart of the Theban Necropolis.
Afterwards we will visit the nearby Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. This mortuary temple is dedicated to the sun god Amun-Ra and is located next to the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II. Afterwards we will drive back to Embark our Luxury Nile Cruise. Lunch on-board. Tea Time at the sundeck.

After breakfast, journey to the Karnak Temple. The temple complex has four parts. The most commonly visited one is the Precinct of Amun-Ra. In addition to this precinct we will visit the three other parts: the Precinct of Mut, the Precinct of Montu, and the ruins of the Temple of Amenhotep IV (more commonly known as Ankhenaten). We will also have time in the Temple of Ptah, Sekhmet and Nefertum. Then visit the Papyrus Shop. Back to the cruise and sail to Edfu … Afternoon enjoy the sailing with the High Tea time at the sundeck of the cruise, and Readings with Jules.

Fly to Cairo/Saqqara Pyramids / Dahshur Pyramids
After breakfast our tour staff will transport you by bus to the Aswan airport, to fly to Cairo. We will then visit the Dahshur pyramid complex and Saqqara, the Pyramid of Djoser. This step pyramid is the archaeological remains of the Saqqara necropolis, situated northwest of the city of Memphis. It was built in 27th century BC during the Third dynasty for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser by his vizier, Imhotep. After lunch we will visit the Serapeum of Saqqara. It was a burial place of the sacred Apis bulls that were incarnations of the ancient Egyptian deity Ptah. It was believed that the bulls became immortal after death as did Osiris. Then back to the hotel.

After breakfast we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum. This museum contains many important pieces of ancient Egyptian history and houses the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. This includes many treasures from the tomb of King Tutankhamen. Then we will go to visit the National museum of Egyptian Civilization which houses the mummies of 20 Kings and Queens of ancient Egypt.
Evening Time there will be an opportunity to have 2 hours of private time inside the Great Pyramid of Giza, in the King’s Chamber and Queen’s Chamber.

We had a lovely trip to Abydos to see the Osirion and Seti’s temples. Private access was arranged to the Osirion for us which was super. It was wonderful to be able to arrange to see Abydos which is off the beaten track for most tourists. We also loved our trip to the Black and White desert and to be able to camp under the stars in such a beautiful place. Everything was perfectly arranged and we had a terrific time. The guides were great and the food was lovely.

Fascinating trip exploring Egypt’s monumental history through the eyes of incredibly knowledgeable experts who made every moment engaging. The group was fantastic—full of laughs—and the Nile experience, along with the food and accommodation, was excellent. Meditating inside the pyramids was truly exceptional. Bindu was a wonderful host, and I would thoroughly recommend this journey to anyone.

We were really happy and impressed with the care and attention from our guides Moustafa and Rsnia (as well as the others that assisted with the transfers and airport admin). I recently completed the Private 11-Days Egypt Spiritual Tour and Luxury Sacred Journey, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived in Egypt, everything was handled seamlessly. We were met at the airport and guided smoothly through every transfer, check-in, and transition throughout the trip, which allowed us to relax completely and focus on the experience itself. A special thank you goes to Mohamed (Moh) and his team, who were incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the entire journey. They were always responsive to our questions and requests and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible experiences at every stage of the trip. One of the most meaningful parts of the journey was travelling from Aswan to Luxor with our guide, Ewais. Very quickly, it became clear that we were in the presence of someone special. You know you are with a true guide rockstar when other guides greet him like royalty, and it was obvious how respected he is. Ewais was incredibly knowledgeable and went far beyond dates and facts, explaining history, philosophy, and symbolism in a way that made everything come alive. He is an outstanding storyteller, and each temple, tomb, and sacred site felt vivid and meaningful through his explanations. His passion and depth of understanding added a profound layer to the journey and made this stretch of the trip unforgettable. The sites we visited were extraordinary and thoughtfully curated. In Cairo, standing before the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx was awe-inspiring, and visits to Saqqara and Memphis added important context to Egypt’s ancient foundations. Exploring the Egyptian Museum brought history even closer, allowing us to see artifacts we had only ever read about. In Aswan, visiting the beautiful Temple of Philae and spending time along the Nile created a calm, reflective start to the river journey. Sailing on the Nile cruise was a highlight in itself, with memorable stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu, each revealing stunning temples and rich symbolism brought to life through our guide’s explanations. Luxor was simply breathtaking. Walking through the vast Karnak Temple complex, exploring Luxor Temple, and descending into the Valley of the Kings were powerful moments. Visits to the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon added even more depth to the experience, making it feel as though every major chapter of ancient Egypt had been carefully brought to life. Just got back from a wonderful 8 days tour of Egypt. The services of the tour company Egypt Unlimited Tours (EUT) was outstanding and I would absolutely recommend them. Ours was a private tour of five and one of our group members coordinated with Mohamed Mostafa, the owner of EUT. Mohamed was very prompt in his communications and addressed all our questions and issues in a timely manner, before as well as throughout the trip. We arrived at 5:30 am and were met at the airport baggage claim by Hussein who took us to our hotel, the Sheraton Cairo Hotel and Casino. The check-in was not until afternoon but they got us our rooms by 9:30 am which really was great because we just had breakfast while we waited. Our tour director Ahmed Mahmoud met us in the lobby soon after we arrived and gave us an overview of our schedule. From the time the tour started to the very last day, it was Ahmed who was with us. He was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and was the perfect tour guide. He was able to answer all our questions with ease. He was also very punctual and organized. The van for transporting us was always waiting for us. They provided bottles of water in the van. One of the vans had a mini cooler. I would suggest this for all the vans. Ahmed had our tickets ready for each of the attractions and we did not have to stand in line for any of them. He was considerate about our low tolerance to the heat and briefed us about the sites, standing in the shade. He also gave us enough time to explore on our own. He helped with suggestions for tips as we were still trying to get used to the conversion rates. I was a little disappointed in not seeing any mummies. They did take us to the Egyptian museum in Cairo but I would have liked to see the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. On our flight from Cairo to Aswan, one thing that was odd was that only Ahmed and one person in our group got business class seats and others were economy. They didn’t really explain why this happened. After we reached Aswan, we boarded our cruise boat, Amwaj Luxury Nile Cruise and the next three nights we stayed on it and sailed to Luxor with stops on the way. It was so calm and peaceful sailing. A wonderful experience. We even went Felucca sailing at sunset which was beautiful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were served on the boat. The timings of our tours to the temples and attractions were planned accordingly. The food was pretty good with lots of choices. On one of the nights, there was entertainment in the boat lounge by a belly dancer which was just okay. The highlight, however, was the Tanoura dance which was mind-blowing. On the 7th day of our tour, we flew from Luxor back to Cairo and stayed at Le Méridien Cairo Airport for a night. On the last day we ended with a grand finale of the tour of the Giza pyramids. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and Egypt Unlimited Tours certainly helped in making it a wonderful experience.
